 Mitrais steps up Australian market push 


Charles Trader - Senior Manager Software DevelopmentIndonesian IT services group, Mitrais is bringing a greater focus to its Australian business, making two senior appointments to drive its Asia Pacific regional expansion.

Bali-based Mitrais has appointed Charles Trader to look after its software development line of business and also brought in Peter Barnett, an accountant by profession, as a director of Mitrais Pte Ltd to assist with the regional expansion of the Mitrais group.

According to Mitrais CEO, David Magson, Trader will work with Australian organisations that use Mitrais’ services, with his responsibility for the management of people, performance and technology acrosss the software development line of business.

Peter Barnet - Director - Mitrais Pte LtdTrader, who joined Mitrais in 2000, has a degree in electrical engineering from Institute Teknologi Bandung (ITB), while Peter Barnett MBE has extensive experience in Europe, Asia and Australia, most recently as CFO of smallgoods company, KR Castlemaine Foods.

Magson says Barnett is a “skilled and resourceful financial and operational executive who spent more than 26 years in South East Asia in hotels and leisure, garment trading and business consultancy before immigrating to Australia in 2005.”
