Following conceptual ideas of a field application, we approached multiple software development companies with the view of finding the right fit with our company and turn our concepts into a working field application. Although we were impressed by other development companies, we found Mitrais to have a positive track record in similar projects. Our biggest concern was communicating with a near-shore company with differing time zones and possible language barriers, however we found Mitrais and the team worked within our time zone to ensure maximum contact availability and communication has never been an issue.
In a short period of time, Mitrais have assisted us in designing the field application, and commenced development, testing, and initial release to our staff. We chose Mitrais because of its reputation and client base. While it was more expensive than some of the other Asian offshoring centres we were more confident about doing business with Mitrais. We also took into account that if we need to visit Bali to brief our captive team then it was no different than getting on a plane going to Melbourne and relatively inexpensive.

We have been working with Mitrais on a number of projects. Their service is excellent, timely and responsive to our needs. The pricing is always reasonable. It is clear that Mitrais team are keen to build a long term relationship with their clients and this is highly appreciated. We were very particular about engaging a company we had confidence in to deliver a system that is very secure. This was a truly global project. One is always a bit hesitant to take on a programming organisation that I have not “eyeballed” or had a personal relationship with, but I was referred to Mitrais from a web designer in Ballarat, Australia and have been extremely pleased with their customer service. I want you to know what an excellent job the team has done with Enterprise Risk Register Version 2.6. They have delivered beyond my expectations. There was a lot of tricky programming to be done, and V2.6 catapults us even further ahead of competitive products. We are leveraging the power of Microsoft .NET Framework, and it is rare that the team tells me something cannot be done in .NET.

Mitrais has made a significant contribution to containing our software support costs by minimizing the need for regression testing with each new release of our risk, incident and issue management solutions.

It makes much more sense for us to use Mitrais because the time difference is so much less than it is when dealing with India. We get access to our Mitrais consultants for most of the working day and this is a real advantage.

We have recently contracted Mitrais to provide resource based application development services for our business. Locally we have found it very difficult to employ skilled and productive resources for development work. The team that Mitrais has provided has been of very high quality, in their development skill, speed of delivering functional code, ability to learn existing application coding and in their interpretation of system end user requirements. I would rate their developers in the top 10%. The procedures that are adopted by the developers to re-interact their understanding of the requirements makes certain that our requirements are properly understood. I highly recommend Mitrais.

Niche Fashion, a provider of software solutions to the fashion and apparel industry, has been working with Mitrais for almost three years now in providing ongoing support for our fashion software solutions. We initially tried out the captive team engagement by undertaking a project to add an SSL certificate on a retail website to ensure secure online transactions through payment gateways. The engagement was proven to be a working solution to our software development need. Now, we are employing two full time Mitrais resources (with an addition of two junior programmers we engaged for short term documenting the products). On Tuesday night (April 23) I found out around 9pm that our sites had a critical bug. I noticed that Robby was still online, so I checked whether he was still in the office (the time was 7pm Bali time). He understood the urgency of the problem and worked quickly and efficiently to resolve the issue. We finished rolling out the fix to all sites about 2 hours later. I wanted to note Robby’s effort and work to sort out this issue! He did exactly what’s required and fast enough to minimise the effect on our users. We started using Mitrais as an experiment to see how we could extend our team with experienced developers and reduce the recruitment effort. We began with one Analyst Programmer based in Bali working as a part of our team. He used our tools and participated in our Scrums. We have found that the Mitrais resource has had excellent skills and has been willing to adjust and work with our Idiosyncrasies. Overall the experiment has been a success for Osmotion and we have recently added another Analyst Programmer. We've got a partnership arrangement with Mitrais in Bali. Ventyx has used them for years. We like it because it's not too far away and a nice place to go. They have very talented people and it's not a hot-spot yet, like India has become a hot-spot.

As an SME, the concept or nearshoring was a little scary at first, but I am delighted to advise you that (our Mitrais developer) has already proven his high quality programming and analysis skills for us, as well as demonstrating a strong work ethic. Despite coming from a zero knowledge background about our solution, within a few weeks he skilfully has coded (and passed tests and rework tests) so that a chunk of his work is now in our next release, and where his work comprises 20% of this release. Additionally I flag that some of his work was in the tricker more complex components of our system and he brilliantly worked out what was required. I am also very impressed that he swiftly learnt our release procedures and was able to successfully release his work onto our platform and ready for live/production release. As an SME this is the perfect and highly economical solution for gaining skilled technical resources.

Recently William has performed exceedingly well on 2 key areas for us. We had to have a new installation (software, tools and database) on a cloud computing platform (NEC) and Will in his 'work through it way' managed skilfully to get it all up and working to everyones delight:-) (This was VIP to us as it hits Australian media next week so we needed to know it was all ready to go go go). Additionally one of our strategic client had a 'special' issues that required Will to rapidly acquire skills in our third party report writer (izenda) and create new tables from ion my for Izenda to produce the reports the client wanted. Firstly thank you for releasing Daniel and Gomgom to work in my group. Feedback I have received from other team members is that both Daniel and Gomgom came to us from Mitrais with very strong Java Code skills and this enabled them to be productive very quickly. I would without a doubt recommend both Daniel and Gomgom for future development or support work within Ventyx projects and I would certainly like to have them working with me again. They conducted themselves in a most professional manner in all circumstances, were great ambassadors for Mitrais and basically were a pleasure to have in the group. I think that using the Mitrais resources as part of an existing project team worked extremely well, especially because they just became an extension of my group.

Mitrais have provided an excellent team of professionals over the last year during the project. The project management has been excellent with estimates provided generally being very accurate. The quality of the coding has been very good with standards provided being followed. The Mitrais team has mostly worked remotely from the project location, but despite this very complex issues have been worked through successfully together.
