Mitrais was commissioned to maintain and enhance a short messaging application that will extend the functionality of the application to users. By engaging Mitrais to undertake the project, the client was able to deploy its own systems engineers to projects which capitalized on their very specific knowledge of the company and its business processes. The maintenance role included bug fixing, user settings for the client’s user interface and database connection. The changes to features included the ability to send in batches, as well as to pause and stop the process. The enhancements will streamline the entire sending process for the client.

Web application developed for social media campaign
Using Facebook Connect to facilitate login for consumers, Mitrais helped a Sydney based digital & social media marketing company to develop a web application to unite its customer’s brand, dealers and consumers. A campaign for one of the marketing company’s customers will showcase the customer’s new product and dealers will be asked to customize one of the products and show the progress online over a period of time. Consumers can view the progress of the dealers’ customization process and vote for their favorite customized product. The winning customized product will then become the major prize for the consumer campaign. back to top

A Mobile sales application highlights rich user experience
Highlighting its ability to both develop software and to integrate leading
edge third party software to produce a rich user experience, Mitrais has
developed mobile survey application for a food processing company to support its
sales force throughout Indonesia. The application involves complicated business
processing including route planning, scheduling, interactive mobile data
collection, data consolidation, synchronization and reporting. Armed with
Microsoft PocketPC based devices the sales force visits retail outlets to gather
market and sales intelligence. The surveys are synchronized in real time to the
regional sales center for the supervisor to generate periodic reports as
feedback to the sales team, and also synchronized to the head office for
management reporting. The application can be highly customized as regards the
questions and also the reporting format, making the system flexible enough to
collect data for various market segments or whenever the company launches new
products.
To provide a rich user experience in the desktop application, Mitrais integrated
NetAdvantage software from Infragistics, the market leader in the presentation
layer components industry. NetAdvantage provides the most comprehensive set of
components for quickly building and styling commercial class user interfaces for
Windows Forms, Microsoft ASP.NET, JSF and WPF applications. These components are
flexible enough to be customized and extended to meet user requirements. The
best feature of NetAdvantage is that Infragistics has its own application
styling framework.
